Screen Time For Kids

Overuse of digital media and screens may place your child or teen at risk.

“…kids who often spend enumerable amounts of screen time…often don’t develop adequately.”

Screens are everywhere. As a result, it is becoming much harder for parents to control a child’s screen time. Studies suggest that too much screen time increases a child’s chance for dyslexia, autism, ADHD, ADD, OCD and other issues. Excessive screen time appears to impair brain structure and function. A lot of the damage occurs in the brain’s frontal lobe, which undergoes massive changes from puberty until the mid-twenties.
